A soothing herbal balm with anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties for topical use on any animal. Phytobalm is easy to apply, quickly absorbed and safe to use on even the most sensitive skin. This superb product is perfect for application to minor wounds, cuts or abrasions, and will not harm even if ingested. Phytobalm is a formulated using the following natural ingredients. Shea Butter – this forms the base cream that holds all the other natural ingredients. Shea Butter is made from the nuts of a tree found on the African savannahs. This rich soothing cream is used by the local women for its remarkable skin softening properties. Marigold- the supreme skin herb, we use both oil and plant extract in our cream for its anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. Ideal for minor wounds and skin abrasions. Precious Myrrh - (Commiphora molmol) essential oil, the stuff of legends, and rightly so. Myrrh has been used for centuries both topically and internally for its anti-bacterial properties. It is especially helpful for skin that is slow to heal or has a 'wet’appearance. Propolis – this is the resin that bees produce to protect the colony against any foreign bodies that enter the hive. The propolis is extracted in both alcohol and almond oil, and then introduced in both the water and oil phase of production. Incorporating the propolis into both phases of the cream allows for a more pronounced and prolonged action. Hypericum (St John’s Wort) oil and tincture.Specific for maintaining nerve endings, this herb is ideal for minor wounds and abrasions.
