Canine Massage Therapy

Myotherapy or Massage is a non invasive treatment that targets the muscles and increases movement and flexibility.
Massages can help dogs with the following conditions:
• Arthritis
• Hip Dysplacia
• Fractures
• Post op rehab
• OCD
• Muscle injuries
Studies have also shown that massage can help canine athletes, working and show dogs increase their performance. We work under the Veterinary Surgeons Act (1996) therefore all massages are subject to vet consent. We will obtain this on your behalf and liaise with your vet to ensure
your dog gets the very best possible care.
Your first appointment will last around an hour and a half and includes a full initial consultation, a chance for your dog to get to know me and experience massage for the first. During this session I will discuss with you how massage will specifically help your dog, agree a treatment plan and explain how you can continue at home. Subsequent appointments will be 45 mins.
On average you will require around 2-3 treatments, the price of treatment is £45 per appointment. We come to see you in your home so you dog feels comfortable and can get the maximum benefit from the
treatment.
Full treatments notes are provided for your vet inclusion on file.
We charge £45 for a 40 minute appointment within 15 miles of Seaham and 50 up to 40 miles.
