Charity Work

Bright Paws was set up to try and help as many dogs in rescue systems across the UK as possible. The sad truth is many dogs are abandoned every day, finding themselves in pounds unclaimed - these dogs have 7 days to be claimed before they face being put to sleep. Young and old, large or small it doesn't matter!

Luckily there are many wonderful people and charities who work tirelessly to get these dogs out of danger and into new homes.
We work hard to support as many of these charities as we can. We donate a percentage of profits annually to help dogs in need. There are many wonderful charities but here are a few we work with:

Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue
Staffies are so misunderstood. One of the only dogs with 'good with children' in their breed standard they have amazing characters and who can resist that beaming smile! There are literally thousands in rescues up and down the Uk. SBT rescue is an amazing charity that works tirelessly to help them find forever homes. As a staffie owners we actively support SBT rescue. To find out more or to donate please go to www.sbtrescue.co.uk or join their forum to chat to fellow staffie lovers www.nannydog.co.uk)

The Oldies Club
When deciding to get a dog, many people automatically think of getting
a puppy. Older dogs who find themselves in rescue often get overlooked
and left behind yet are wonderful companions and offer such love for
many years. The Oldies Club is a wonderful charity which helps these
dogs find new families to love and one which Bright Paws is proud to
support. To find out more please visit the Oldies Club website at
http://www.oldies.org.uk/ - could you offer a forever or foster home
for an older dog?)
